Awards for Excellence in Game Audio

The G.A.N.G Awards identify the highest quality and achievement of those individuals, projects and products offering a significant and positive impact on the art and craft of producing interactive audio, its community and the interactive industry as a whole. Criteria judged include production value, quality, innovation and community service.
The G.A.N.G. Awards recognize music, sound design and voice acting as three distinct disciplines. Award eligibility is not restricted to G.A.N.G. members exclusively - any individual, product or project may receive an award for a contribution to interactive audio.
G.A.N.G. Members may make nominations for any category. There are no fees involved with submitting nominations.
After these nominations are collected, the Awards Committee puts together MP3s, AVIs and other data and sends them to the G.A.N.G. Advisors. The Advisors then vote to narrow down the selections to the final 4, 5, or 6 final nominations. Once the final nominations are chosen, the Awards Committee posts them along with MP3s, AVIs and other relevant data on the G.A.N.G. messageboards. The G.A.N.G. membership then listen/watch the final entries, then vote to select the winner in each category.
Winners receive their awards at the Annual G.A.N.G Awards Show held in San Francisco, CA during the Game Developer's Conference in March.
