Transformers: War for Cybertron - the cars behind the game (5 minute video)

 

Hello everyone!

Please mark your calendars and buy the newest release of Transformers: War for Cybertron. It'll be out on June 22, 2010 for 360, PS3, and PC. I was contracted by Activision/High Moon Studios to record and provide all of their land vehicles.  On private roads and highways we recorded cars like a very rare Porsche Carrera GT (who is Bumble Bee), Hummer H2 (Prime), ProCharger Corvette, 69' dragster Corvette, 65' Cobra, and many more. IGN was so impressed that they had a dedicated booth displayed at E3 this past week. The game play rocks!

I had the pleasure this week to field record an exotic super car, The Ford GT40. It's a 2005 model modified from 500 to 800 horse power! We went up to 120mph and did some sustains of 6,500rpms. This speedy beast didn't even break a sweat! :-)

Codemasters' game Operation Flashpoint - Dragon Rising received 10/10 Sound review from a German GameStar Magazine! German to English was translated by a fellow audio friend Henning Nugel - "Excellent weapon and vehicle sounds; realistic background sounds" - Wuhoo!!!

Speaking at SiegeCon.net (Southern Interactive Entertainment Game & Expo) in Atlanta this past weekend was a success! Along with members Chris Rickwood, Matt Piersall, Chris Sabat, and Chris Groegler, we had loads of Fun! Thank you everyone for a push to make our industry grow and see you again next year. :-)
